Have you noticed how nutrition seems to be getting more confusing by the day?

One expert tells us to eat one way.

Another tells us the exact opposite.

One headline says fruit has "too much sugar."

The next tells us to avoid carbs.

Then someone else says we need more protein...

No wonder so many people feel overwhelmed, confused, and don’t know where to start. Sheesh! 😳

For years, I thought eating and living healthy came with “requirements” too.

I thought I needed to count calories, memorize nutrition labels, focus on “protein,” buy ‘special’ products, and constantly thinking about supplements because we are told they’re needed. (That’s a whole other topic, I’ll be talking about because it’s another BIG “money driven” misconception!)

But the more I studied nutrition, the more it clicked.

The foods that nourish us most don't come with nutrition labels.

They grow on trees.

In gardens and on vines.

Directly from the earth.

Fresh fruit doesn't need a commercial to convince you it's healthy.

Leafy greens don't come with a list of ingredients.

Nature has already done the hard work and it didn’t come with a price tag that keeps going up!

Somewhere along the way, we've drifted away from that simplicity.

We've become so focused on nutrients, numbers, and marketing claims that we've forgotten to ask a much simpler question:

Is this food something nature created, or something we created?

That question changes everything.

Instead of asking...

"How many grams of protein does this have?"

Start asking...

"How close is this food to the way nature made it?"

Instead of worrying about restrictions...

Start focusing on abundance.

  • More colorful fruits.

  • More leafy greens.

  • More vegetables.

And more foods that come straight from the source… Nature.

Something amazing happens when you shift your focus from what you need to remove to everything you get to enjoy.

Healthy living starts feeling less like a sacrifice and more like a return to nature.

Now, does that mean you have to change everything overnight?

Absolutely not.

In fact, I encourage people to do the opposite.

Start with one raw fruit smoothie.

Incorporate one mono-meal a day.

🍉 A mono meal is eating as much as you can of one single fruit until you are fully satiated.

Add a new leafy green to your dinner this week.

Visit your local farmers market.

Small, intentional changes have a way of creating extraordinary transformations over time.

Progress over perfection.

Every meal is a new opportunity to nourish yourself.

And each new day is a chance to start a new while making choices that move you closer to the life you want to live.

Over time, those choices add up.

As an added bonus this week, I want to share some of my recipes with you to give you some inspiration while I work on creating my recipe book.😍

These are sample recipes to get you started. Not all have images but rest assured, my recipe book will. Plus, it’s going to include tips and guides to help give you the boost you need to push forward.

It’s been a longgggg time coming so I’m excited to share it with you soon! 💖

Until the next one...

Peace, love, and plant powered vibes! ✌🏻❤️🌱
